We understand that choosing the right setting for your precious little one
is an extremely important decision. From the first time you visit we will work with
you to ensure that you and your baby are comfortable in our surroundings and you are
given the information you need to make informed decision. We want you to feel proud
of your childcare choice.
Our baby unit has two beautiful rooms and have been purposefully designed to provide a
warm, calm, and stimulating environment.
Moonbeams offers a home from home environment for our
youngest children complete with original fireplaces, cosy rugs and soft lighting; the children
have space to snuggle, roll, crawl and walk. We have carefully considered our space to benefit as
much as we can from the high ceilings, light walls and large windows in order for the room to be
flooded with natural light.
There are also areas for messy play where they can play with water, sand, paint
and are free to explore and create their very own pieces of art! Babies are encouraged to
explore their environment through their senses. The team watch the children very carefully
for any emerging interests and fascinations and adapt the environment and learning experiences
to best support the children’s learning and development.
We believe that fresh air and the ability to see, touch and explore nature really aids
children’s learning and therefore we spend a large proportion of each day outside, whether on
buggy walks around the marina, lake grounds, in our baby garden (a great space for those
finding their feet) or in our larger front and rear gardens.
Each child is wonderfully unique, and follows their own feeding and sleep routines,
we will do our best to closely compliment their home routine whilst they are with us. The
first floor of our converted Victorian property is solely dedicated to babies, and we are
fortunate to have a separate sleep room with cots so they can get that all important sleep.
